Wild Card Characters :  a wild card character is a character that may be substituted for any of a defined subset of all possible characters.

Wide Area Networks (WANs) : is a computer network that covers a broad area ,any network whose communications links cross metropolitan, regional, or national boundaries .

Virus : is a computer program that can copy itself .

Utility Software : is a kind of system software designed to help analyze, configure, optimize and maintain the computer.

User Interface : is (a place) where interaction between humans and machines occurs.

Unix : is a computer operating system originally developed in 1969 by a group of AT&T employees .

Universal Serial Bus (USB) : USB can connect computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players,flash drives .

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) : is an electrical device that provides emergency power to a load when the input power source.

Troubleshooting : is a form of problem solving, often applied to repair failed products or processes.

Tree-Pane : usually shows a list of what can be displayed in the content pane.

Title-Bar : consists of that part of a window where the title of the window appears.

Teleconferencing : is the live exchange of information among several persons and machines remote from one another.

Surge Protectors : is an appliance designed to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes.
