Windows Explorer : is a file manager application that is included with releases of the Microsoft Windows operating system from Windows 95 onwards. 
Window : is a series of software operating systems and graphical user interfaces produced by Microsoft.
Wild Card Characters :  a wild card character is a character that may be substituted for any of a defined subset of all possible characters.
Wide Area Networks (WANs) : is a computer network that covers a broad area ,any network whose communications links cross metropolitan, regional, or national boundaries .
Virus : is a computer program that can copy itself .
Utility Software : is a kind of system software designed to help analyze, configure, optimize and maintain the computer.
User Interface : is (a place) where interaction between humans and machines occurs.
Unix : is a computer operating system originally developed in 1969 by a group of AT&T employees .

Universal Serial Bus (USB) : USB can connect computer peripherals such as micekeyboardsdigital camerasprinters, personal media players,flash drives .

Surge Protectors : is an appliance designed to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes.

Submenu : a list of commands presented to an operator by a computer or communications system
Subfolder : is a virtual container with a digital file system. 


Status Bar : is an information area found at the bottom of windows in a graphical user interface.
Start Button : provides a central launching point for application and tasks.
